Vanessa Ronksley
CO-FOUNDER & COACH
Vanessa has been coaching athletes for more than 30 years, working across a wide range of school and provincial-level sports. With a background in dance, gymnastics, volleyball, track and field, soccer, fitness competitions, and her true athletic love—field hockey—she has spent her life immersed in movement, competition, and the pursuit of personal excellence. Before discovering triathlon, her experience in swim, bike, and run was everyday and approachable: childhood swim lessons, cycling around the neighbourhood and commuting to work, and the occasional fun run.
When she was encouraged to try her first triathlon, she crossed the finish line and instantly knew she’d found her next chapter. The sport had such a profound impact that it sparked a full career shift, pulling her deeper into coaching, athlete development, and the triathlon community she had grown to love. From that moment on, she embraced the sport wholeheartedly—training with a local community, studying everything she could about swim/bike/run, and immersing herself fully in the process.
As a trained coach certified through the Canadian Coaching Association (NCCP), Vanessa has since coached triathletes across all race distances, from first-time sprints to full IRONMAN finishes. Her purpose is rooted in empowerment: helping athletes recognize their inner strength and realize they are far more capable than they believe.
Her long-term vision is to build a community where athletes feel uplifted, confident, and connected—thriving together as they pursue bold goals with courage and joy. Vanessa coaches with warmth, clarity, and an unwavering belief in each athlete’s potential, creating an environment where progress feels exciting and big dreams feel within reach.

Brady Hoover
COACH
Brady Hoover's coaching philosophy is built on a foundation of strength, movement quality, and long-term athlete development. Before specializing in endurance sports, Brady spent years working full-time as a Certified Personal Trainer and Functional Strength Coach, helping athletes and individuals of all ages build strength, improve movement, and develop confidence in their physical abilities. That background continues to shape the way he coaches today, recognizing that better movement creates more durable, efficient, and resilient endurance athletes.
Brady discovered triathlon through his passion for running and endurance sports, eventually earning certifications through USA Triathlon, the Endurance Sport Coaching Institute, IRONMAN U, and becoming a RunDNA Level 2 Certified Running Gait Analyst. His combination of expertise in strength training, running mechanics, and endurance performance allows him to coach beyond prescribing workouts. He evaluates how athletes move, identifies inefficiencies in running form, and develops individualized solutions that combine technical drills with targeted strength exercises to correct movement patterns. Rather than simply telling athletes what to change, Brady helps them understand why the change matters and builds the strength and stability needed to make those improvements permanent.
Brady has coached athletes across the entire endurance spectrum, from individuals preparing for their very first 5K to experienced age-group competitors chasing personal bests and IRONMAN finish lines. One of his favorite success stories is helping an athlete progress from completing their first 5K to accomplishing the goal of becoming an IRONMAN. He believes every athlete deserves the same level of attention, whether they're crossing their first finish line or pursuing ambitious performance goals.
As both an accomplished endurance athlete himself and coach, Brady has completed multiple IRONMAN and IRONMAN 70.3 races, qualified for and completed the Boston Marathon multiple times, and continues to train and competes himself. This firsthand experience allows him to understand not only the physical demands of endurance sport, but also the balancing act of training alongside work, family, and everyday life.
Brady believes the best coaching blends science with relationships. By combining AI-powered training through TriDot with his personalized coaching, regular communication, movement analysis, and practical strength guidance, he creates a coaching experience that is both data-driven and personal. His goal is not simply to help athletes race faster, but to help them become healthier, more resilient, and more confident athletes for years to come.
Whether you're training for your first race, looking to qualify for Boston, chasing an IRONMAN finish, or striving to reach the podium, Brady is committed to helping you unlock your potential through smarter training, better movement, and consistent support every step of the journey.
